It was her first shoot ever, but since I first met her-last year at Birkelunden fleamarket- and after following her blog every day since- I knew she would be the perfect model for a blog inspired photoshoot.

GO West - Westernstyle

Dolly Parton here I am! I thought I was a bit over fringe details, but that was before this american western leather jacket wanted a new owner. I have been looking for a white leather jacket for a long time- and when the owner of Velouria Vintage told me she just got one in, I had no choice- My Name was written on it..
I guess I can catch a role in a western movie now, or maybe star as a young Dolly Parton.. he he. This fringed jacket is so cool. I have no worlds. Just love it.
And in the pocket I found one American dime, sadly not enough to pay for the jacket. Had to cash out 850 n.kr (approx 120 dollar). Mirror-pics is actually not my thing- but since many of you ask for outfit-pics... here you go cowboys and angels.

Going Wild

The other day I got the goodybag from fashionblog08, full of mineral makeup from Loreal and a giftcard from H&M. Yeah! Have been waiting for the sebra printed jumpsuit for a while, so this giftgard really made my day- and the best of all-I still have some money left to use.Thanks again for all of you voting 4 me at moteblogg08- I never thought I would be one of the finalists.

todays black diamond

Since I´m almost broke, I havent bought much new clothes lately, but today I found a few nice second hand pieces at Fretex Unika. The Kiss t-shirt is from 1986, with coloured print on the front and black &white print on the back. I LOVE the short 80s fit, and the fact that the tee is well used and has a few holes in it. The white leather bag, is designed by ingrid franzen, and very cute with its silver and blue leather details. Perfect to style with a pair of jeans..

on my wish list

I really want these pair of customized jeans by Mardou & Dean. I borrowed them for styling the other day, and tryed them on- and they are so cool. Designed by norwegian Ingrid Bredholt and swedish Patrik Rosenfors. I did use a white customized shorts for the Black & White fashionshoot with Maria, http://www.vanillascented.com/and both the shorts and a pair of jeans is on my wishlist! will post pics from the photoshoot on thursday-

what 2 wear...

I have the same problem every morning, and when I finally know what to wear- I don`t find my clothes, because my closet is a mess. Know the feeling? I don`t know if it`s a good or a bad idea- but it might be better to find it out the day before- but I cant plan what mood im in- so outfit-planning is probably nothing for me. Guess I have to get my closet better organized, or stop buying more stuff.. well. wont happen. But a walking closet one day.. yes please.

my KILLER heels

High heels and open shoes is not the best combination when its snow everywhere you go-
but I hate wearing flats when Im dressed up, and since I came back from "flip flop-country" Bali - I have been in mood for wearing heels. So at the opening show for Oslo fashion Week yesterday I did wear high heels. My favorites for the moment is a studded pair inspired by Balmain, from Aldo. I Love them...

DIY- batik jeans

step1: First of all you need clothes to dye, batik colour, fix, salt and hot water. Find out what you wanna dye, and find out what kind of batik technique you wanna use. Cotton normally gives the best result. Make sure you don`t take your favorite pair of pants- Batik is easy to be bored of later. I love white jeans, but lucky for me I got two pair of white pants from Wesc- so I could try dyeing one.

step2: so here we go.....Put the clothes you wanna colour in hot water for 30 min. (40degrees for light colour- 60 for darker colour). Add colour, batikk-fix and salt.

Step3: wash your clothes in cold water, and remove the treeds. After this your pair of jeans is ready for the washingmashine (40degrees)

step4= the result: You never know how the final result will be, cause some materials will loose colour in the maschine. But Im totally happy with my light blue pair of batik pants. simsalabim- ready to wear- and one more DIY-project in progress...

I gotta hang on sequined vintage tops and jackets. This one is unique and my best found this week, from Velouria Vintage. Disco meets Rock`n Roll. I really love the sequined shoes I styled Maria with on the photoshoot too, but they are size 37, and I`m normally a 38.

A vanillascented fashionshoot

Thuesday last week I did a fashionshoot with Maria; vanillascented.com I love her style and look, and I`m so happy she said yes. Hilde Groven shot it, I did the styling and Line S. did hair & makeup. This is only a sneak peak- the fashionshoot will be published in topp magazine in the end of this month, 8 pages!
