Vi elsker second hand, og gjengtar suksessen etter bakgårdssalget i høst. Søndag 30.november flytter vi opp til vårt favoritt-marked; søndagsmarkedet på Birkelunden, og selger alt fra slitte jeans, til sko som knapt er brukt. Nytt og gammelt- brukt og ubrukt! Her kan du gjøre mange gode førjuls kupp. Maria, Tinki og jeg sørger for topp stemning fra kl. 12 til mørket senker seg over Grûnerløkka og det er på tide å tenne det første adventslyset. Håper å se deg.

UFF it is- Underground - House of second hand

Have been a while since I have been checking out UFF UnderGround- but today, on my way home, I visited the "house of secondhand" in pilestredet 47a. And I don`t regret.
As you can see on the picture, I am trying on my new outfit in the fitting room! Very stoked with my catch of the day; 3 items in total for 700 n.kr
For those who havnt been there: Underground is part of www.humana.org- people to people. They have one store in Storgata 1 and this one in Pilestredet (close to Høyskolesenteret)

ONE EARRING: Inspired by Madonna, and the 80s, I have been wearing my old silver cross earrings today. Well, I ended up wearing only one, and yes...I think I like it...

OVERSIZED & 2 BELTS: I love overzised knitted jumpers. Paid only 31 euros for this vintage jumper from MADE IN BERLIN, styled it with a leather belt & and a studded skull belt I have had for years. FOX TAIL: my handbag, styled with my fake fur fox tail from H&M.

Grabbed this German fashion magazine at the airport; TUSH; comments on aesthetics and society. Got lots of inspiration, and as the editor in chief writes; "Open your eyes, find youself and live your own dreams. Trends are not set by the industry, they are defined by inspired people" The covershot is ¨ubercool, the magazine also have a good feature on "faces of horror"- the dark side of make-up and an edgy fashionshoot by KENT BAKER.

Berlin is the mecca for vintageshopping, and first stop yesterday was; MADE IN BERLIN, located in Mitte area; Neue Schönhauser str.19. You don`t have to wake up early for shopping in Berlin. Most of the stores opens at 12 or 01pm...
2 floors with both women and mens clothes, and the prices are really good.
scarfs, beanies, tees, sequin-tops, jeans, shoes, jackets, boots, dresses and bags. - they have a good selection of items.
Once a week, every thuesday between 12-15, its Happy Hour at MADE IN BERLIN and you get 20% off. How cool is that?

gepard chic

Early morning, on my way to the office. selfportrait; I hate the fact that its getting colder in town, but thank god for warm jackets. This faux fur gepard jacket is one of my favorites- bought it 3 years ago if Im not wrong, at Miss Sixy. There is a lot of lepard printed jeackets out there, but havent seen so many gepard-printet ones.

I have accessories everywhere. In my bedrom, bathroom, livingroom and kitchen. Even my buddha is decorated with beads and chains.

well...the other day I understood why my boyfriend think I have enought accessories. This is just a small part of my collection. I`m sorting out what to keep and what to sell/ give away..Hopefully we will manage to have a flea market before christmas. (probably the 30th of november)

I love vintage boots. worn shoes looks better and normally have a better fit. This seasons favorite; my studded boots from Bacon`s Closet. Got them for 21 dollars only (140 n.kr)and haven´t seen anyone else wearing any similar.

NEVERMIND...

Ok. Yes I do like the grunge style, and I do like Nirvana... but this is weird. When I came back from New York I saw this picture of Nirvana in a book about Kurt Cobain. Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl did this shoot for Rolling Stone magazine back in 1992. Take a look at Cobains jumper....

....and then you take a look at my vintage jumper.....I bought this at Bacons Closet in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY for 15 dollars. Couldn`t be more similar, right?

I can`t get enought of ripped jeans, and this is absolutely one of my favorites. Have been customizing 4 jeans myself- but guess I have to get this pair from BikBok. The stars allready have their pair from top shop- and if you wanna get the look- and live in Norway- you should look after these.
